PayMyLink – User Terms of Use

1. Scope & Acceptance

These User Terms of Use apply to any individual (“User,” “Customer,” “you”) who makes a payment using a PayMyLink-generated payment link.

By completing a payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms in full.

If you do not agree, do not proceed with the payment.

2. Role of PayMyLink (Important)

PayMyLink is a technology platform only.

  • PayMyLink does not sell goods or services
  • PayMyLink is not the merchant of record
  • PayMyLink does not verify or guarantee merchant legitimacy
  • PayMyLink does not control merchant pricing, delivery, or performance

All payments are made directly to the merchant using PayMyLink’s payment-link infrastructure.

3. Merchant Responsibility & Eligibility

Each merchant using PayMyLink is solely responsible for:

  • The legality of their business
  • Accuracy of product or service descriptions
  • Pricing, delivery, fulfillment, and quality
  • Compliance with consumer protection laws
  • Handling customer complaints, refunds, or cancellations

PayMyLink does not vet or endorse merchants beyond basic platform onboarding.

4. No Refunds by PayMyLink (Strict Policy)

⚠️ PayMyLink does NOT issue refunds under any circumstances.

  • All refund requests must be directed to the merchant
  • PayMyLink cannot force a merchant to refund
  • Platform, processing, and transaction fees are non-refundable
  • Completed payments are considered final, unless the merchant voluntarily refunds

By making a payment, you expressly acknowledge this policy.

5. Fraud, Misrepresentation & Disputes

If a merchant:

  • Fails to deliver goods or services
  • Misrepresents an offer
  • Engages in fraudulent or deceptive behavior

You agree that:

  • The dispute is strictly between you and the merchant
  • PayMyLink is not liable for losses, damages, or non-delivery
  • PayMyLink does not provide buyer protection

You may pursue remedies directly with the merchant or through your payment provider (e.g., card issuer), subject to their rules.

6. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback:

  • The merchant is solely responsible for responding
  • Funds may be reversed according to card network rules
  • Additional fees may apply

PayMyLink is not responsible for the outcome of chargebacks or disputes.

7. User Due Diligence (Your Responsibility)

Before making a payment, you agree that you are responsible for:

  • Verifying the merchant’s identity and reputation
  • Reviewing product or service details
  • Understanding refund, cancellation, and delivery terms
  • Assessing the risks of transacting online

PayMyLink does not guarantee transaction outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayMyLink shall not be liable for:

  • Merchant fraud or misconduct
  • Financial loss or damages
  • Service failures or delays by merchants
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Your sole remedy is against the merchant.

9. Acknowledgment & Consent

By completing a payment via PayMyLink, you confirm that:

  • You understand PayMyLink is not the seller
  • You accept the no-refund-by-platform policy
  • You assume all risks associated with the transaction
  • You release PayMyLink from liability related to the merchant’s actions

11. Prohibited Use & Illegal Activity (User Responsibility)

Users are strictly prohibited from using PayMyLink to participate in, facilitate, or benefit from any illegal, unlawful, or unauthorized activity, whether conducted independently or in coordination with a merchant.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Knowingly paying for illegal goods or services
  • Assisting or participating in fraudulent schemes
  • Circumventing laws, sanctions, or regulatory requirements
  • Using PayMyLink to launder funds or disguise transaction purposes

Users agree that they must not knowingly engage in transactions that violate applicable laws or regulations.

12. Enforcement, Termination & Reporting

If PayMyLink reasonably suspects that a User has participated in, facilitated, or knowingly supported illegal or prohibited activities:

  • The User’s access to PayMyLink may be immediately suspended or terminated
  • Associated transactions may be reviewed, delayed, or restricted
  • Relevant information may be reported to payment processors, financial institutions, compliance partners, or law enforcement authorities, as required or permitted by law

PayMyLink reserves the right to cooperate fully with regulatory bodies and authorities.

13. User Acknowledgment

  • You are responsible for ensuring the legality of your transactions
  • Participation in illegal activity may result in account termination and reporting
  • PayMyLink has no obligation to provide notice prior to suspension or reporting when legally required
